Nota de cata del enólogo de la bodega The harvest is carried out by hand and at night, avoiding the still high temperatures of September in Castilla. The nocturnal harvesting by means of traditional methods guarantees that the grape enters the cellar in the optimal conditions, since it reduces the enzymatic activity of the grapes. Thus, its oxidation is avoided and its organoleptic potential is maintained. TASTING NOTE: • Clear, yellow with greenish iridescence. • The nose presents floral notes, as well as tropical fruits. • The palate has complexity, a balanced acidity and a refined finish slightly bitter and perfumed. • Without aging in wood. • It allows guard. La bodega
We are located in the province of Segovia, which with its cold winters, hot summers, low rainfall, average altitudes of over 900 meters and sandy soils, allow us to produce the best Verdejo grape. Ours are wines with body, with character, lively and that try to transmit our tradition. Our family is involved up to the third generation in this winery with the illusion of maintaining the traditional values of the wines of our region with the help of the best technological advances for their winemaking. We are engaged with the environment being one of the largest producers of organic wine in the region and with our society being half of our workforce and commitment to disabled people who work with us. Our main brands are: "Doña Beatriz", "Cerrosol" and "Viña El Portalón". We have white and sparkling wines from DO Rueda, white and rosé wins from "Castilla y León" and red wines from Ribera del Duero |
